He talks around the subject instead of through it, he is very bad at explaining difficult ideas, and he dramatically overestimates the level of jargon the average reader will understand.
As an adult, the sea squirt attaches itself to a stationary object then digests most of its own brain. While there are some very interesting ideas in miti book, Llinas is not very good at conveying them.
